Scott is an experienced coal mining leader with deep expertise across operations, technical and asset evaluation. He has led teams within Australia's highest performing underground longwall operations as well as established new successful projects.  

Scott has industry knowledge and experience managing mining teams, developing projects and assessing business risks and opportunity. Internationally he has worked in Mexico and the USA (gold/silver) and have conducted advisory and asset evaluation services in USA and South African coal operations.

Scott is passionate about passing on learnings from the pre-drainage conducted at Grosvenor (conducted by Arrow) for future pre-drainage activities at Open Cut mines that may involve future underground opportunities.

He has completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining), holds a Ventilation officer qualification and Queensland ERZ Controller Certificate and has completed the relevant study for the First Class Mine Managers’ Qualification. He recently completed his MBA through The University of Queensland and has been recognised as an emerging sustainability business leader. Scott was a finalist at Queensland’s 40 under 40 Awards, a global program designed to celebrate the impact of the finest young leaders and entrepreneurs.
