Rebekah is an accomplished operations leader with a proven track record in the renewable energy industry, specialising in sustainable practices, operational efficiency, and production management. With a solutions-oriented mindset and a deep understanding of the power generation landscape, Rebekah has consistently delivered measurable results by optimising operations, reducing costs, and driving system performance. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovative problem-solving and sustainability, focusing on achieving business objectives while minimising environmental impact. Rebekah's leadership and strategic focus have helped align operational practices with broader sustainability goals, making her a key player in the renewable energy space.
Throughout her career, Rebekah has led cross-functional teams in renewable energy generation, waste management, landfill gas, and greenhouse gas management. She has coordinated engineering, maintenance, and safety initiatives, ensuring high operational standards and the successful delivery of strategic goals. With a Master of Environmental Engineering (M.Eng.) from Griffith University and a Bachelor of Environmental Management from the University of Queensland, Rebekah brings strong technical expertise to her role. She is currently undertaking a Master of Power System Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland, further strengthening her ability to navigate the complex energy systems of the future.
As the Chief Operating Officer, Rebekah has focused on advancing safety operational practices and production management across her business, ensuring the highest standards of workplace safety, operational excellence, and reliability. Her efforts have included the development of safety protocols and production systems that enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk. Additionally, Rebekah is deeply engaged in the evolving landscape of carbon markets and Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) creation, driving initiatives that support the transition to a low-carbon economy. With the growing importance of carbon credits, Rebekah is leading efforts to capture and manage greenhouse gas emissions, positioning her organisation at the forefront of carbon accounting and carbon market participation. By aligning operational strategies with regulatory requirements and sustainability targets, Rebekah is helping to shape the future of energy production while contributing to environmental preservation and climate goals.
