Mark has more than 25 years’ experience in the clean energy and carbon abatement sectors. He is an experienced executive who has led global teams for large multinational companies as well as start-ups, including Helmont Energy and Carbon Logica. Mark has the capability to originate and implement complex energy investments and has extensive experience in biomethane and carbon abatement for the resource sector and electricity generation projects.

Mark has held numerous executive positions at EDL and was responsible for global growth and the commercialisation of new renewable energy technologies. Prior to EDL, Mark was involved in developing natural pipelines in Australia with Duke Energy. He has extensive experience as a business and project developer and has also project managed renewable and remote power projects in Australia, North America, the United Kingdom and Europe.   

Mark has extensive experience working with the Clean Energy Regulator (CER) during his role with EDL building the methods that now exist for Waste Coal Mine Gas and has more recently led a team to develop new ERF methods for bio-methane.  Mark is the Managing Director of Helmont Energy a Bioenergy business that is decarbonising the agricultural industry.

Mark also leads strategy on behalf of LMS Energy, a 50% owner of Carbon Logica.
